Surfing

Australia is home to some of the great waves on the planet, and some of the best surfers. If you are looking to take a trip somewhere and want plenty of coastline to choose from then Oz is the go! You have three choices - east, south or west. There is no surfing in the north mainly because of the stingers (jellyfish) and salt water crocodiles.



In Australia have been recorded some TV series about surfing, such as Blue Water High. Each season of the series follows the lives of a young group of students at Solar Blue, a high-performance surf academy where several lucky 16-year-olds are selected for a 12-month-long surfing program on Sydney's northerm beaches.
